Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Summit Woods is committed to the discipleship of women into a deeper relationship with God, their families and one another by providing avenues for spiritual growth and support.
We offer Bible studies on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 and on Tuesday mornings (during the school year). We also offer special events, fellowship times and programs that are posted on the web site as they are available. We welcome and enjoy visitors at any of our events.
Tuesday Morning Bible study will continue studying “Attending the Bride” looking at how the Jewish wedding traditions mirror God’s work of redemption for the Church—the Bride of Christ. Books cost $9.00.
On May 27, we will begin our summer study, “Living Beyond Ourselves” by Beth Moore. Books will be available the first week and cost $15—scholarships are available for financial need.
We meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each Tuesday morning. Child care is available by reservation only—contact Kandy in the office. Please join us for a wonderful morning of fellowship, prayer and study.
Wednesday night Bible study will continue with Daniel through the end of May. During the summer we will begin a new series “Hard Questions of the Faith” taught by Kandy Jackson. We will look at such topics as “When I Doubt”, “Why Does God Allow Evil”, “How Do I Know God’s Will” and others. No books are needed. Please join us on June 4 from 6:30-7:30 as we begin this special series.
Please sign up for either class on the Friendship Pad or contact Kandy Jackson through the church office or email.
